At Hodge Clough, we take PRIDE in who we are, what we achieve, and how we treat one another; PRIDE and our other values of Happiness, Excellence, Attitude, Respect and Togetherness guide our learning, our relationships, and our sense of community. They help us to build a school filled with warmth, kindness, and ambition, where every child feels valued, supported, and proud to belong. 

It is no accident that we use the word HEART to remember our values. We chose this word for its many positive and pertinent meanings, and not least because it allowed us to put children’s happiness first. Moreover it is because at Hodge Clough we put children at the HEART of every decision we make. We are proud of this ethos, and so PRIDE has become the value that connects all the others — inspiring us to care deeply, aim high, and take joy in everything we achieve together.

We take pride in creating a school filled with happiness, care, and kindness. 
We value the happiness of everyone in our school family — our children, staff, parents, and visitors.
