Safeguarding information for parents and carers

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Gemma Murphy
Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSLs) are Wendy Watson, Karen McGee and Stella Hodkinson.

If you wish to discuss or share any concerns regarding safeguarding or child protection, please contact our safeguarding staff through the school office.

Our school follows the Oldham Safeguarding Children Partnership procedures. The school will always aim to discuss any safeguarding concerns with parents or carers. However, there may be exceptional circumstances where concerns must be shared with Social Care and/or the Police without prior parental consent, in line with safeguarding procedures.

We are committed to maintaining positive and trusting relationships with all parents and carers while ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of our pupils remains our highest priority.

The school has a wide range of safeguarding, health and safety policies and procedures in place to protect all pupils and promote their welfare. These are reviewed and monitored annually school, governors and staff and include policies on safeguarding, anti-bullying, behaviour, site security, first aid and online safety.
