Reporting a Safeguarding Concern
If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, it is important to act. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and sharing concerns helps to keep children safe.

If a child is in immediate danger or at risk of serious harm, you must call 999 straight away.

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child outside of school hours or feel it needs to be reported directly, you can contact the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Oldham, which brings together key agencies to assess and respond to concerns about children and families. You can contact them on 0161 770 7777.

During the school day, concerns should be shared with a member of the school’s Safeguarding Team , Mrs Hodkinson, Mrs Watson, Ms McGee or Ms Murphy, as soon as possible.
No concern is too small. If something doesn’t feel right, please speak up — your actions could make a vital difference to a child’s safety and wellbeing.
