At Hodge Clough Primary School, we follow the Ready Steady Write scheme to deliver high-quality, engaging writing lessons that build pupils’ confidence and creativity. This is complemented by Read Write Inc. Spelling, which develops spelling and vocabulary skills by building on the strong foundations established through Read Write Inc. Phonics. Handwriting is taught using the Letter Join scheme, supporting children to develop clear, fluent, and consistent handwriting as they progress through school.
