Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development is the over-arching umbrella that encompasses personal development across our whole curriculum. At Hodge Clough Primary we aspire to put SMSC 'at the heart' of everything we do. As a school we encourage all  to think about the kind of people they want to be, the kind of world we aspire to create and the kind of education we aspire to provide.

Our weekly Catch up newsletter has our weekly theme, quote and question of the week and gives you the opportunity to find out who has made it into our newsletter with their amazing proud slip.
