School Uniform
There is no expectation that items of clothing contain the school logo but they must be the correct colour. Please note that all basic items can also be purchased from all major supermarkets. Branded uniform can be purchased from Monkhouses (Top Form) on Union Street; Debonair in the inside market or through www.myclothing.com
If you would like to purchase second hand uniform - please inform the school office who will be able to arrange this.
Please ensure all items of clothing and footwear are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

For Girls
Grey skirt, trousers or pinafore dress

Footwear/Socks
All children should have black school shoes. Children should wear dark socks or plain white socks. Multi coloured socks must not be worn.
Year 6 Uniform

Our Year 6 children wear a different jumper/cardigan to show that they are our role models in school; and so younger children can find them easily if they need help or support.
PE Kit
Year 1 - Year 6
Children must come to school wearing their PE kit for the whole day. This includes:
The usual blue t-shirt, navy blue shorts and non-branded black trainers.
For the winter months, children must wear the following:
Plain black or navy tracksuit bottoms, the usual blue t-shirt, black trainers and a black sweatshirt/zip-up to keep warm.
Please ensure that no branded items or football shirts are worn as part of the PE kit. It is still important that children look smart and part of the Hodge Clough family.
Nursery and Reception
Children in Nursery and Reception will continue to change for PE in school as 'getting dressed' is a skill young children need to develop.
Winter kit:
Royal blue PE T shirt, navy or black PE shorts and black trainers.
